Shareholder Meeting

On this week's episode recyclops returns. A robot (ran by Dwight) here to save the Earth from us humans. Today, is a big day for Michael. He's going to what he thinks is an honor show for him because of the great achievements that he's earned at his company. He has no idea how he'll great the head of all the paper companies when his name is announced. Should he twirl? Maybe fire out a snap from his hands like our ingenious Nolly does? Anyways, the whole office is amazed when they see that Michael gets a limo for his route to the board. Everyones jealous and in shock, except for Oscar. He points out the fact that they're in debt and they're wasting their money on transportation by buying a limo. Everyone begs for Michael to allow them to come with them for the ride. Mike chooses Andy, Dwight, and Oscar. When they arrive at the meeting, Michael is startled because of the fact that everyone boo's at the managers. So to get them happy, he tells them that they have a 45 day plan that will assure the company and their workers that the business will run strong. One problem, there is no plan. The managers take a break and scold Michael for what he did. He has no idea what to say, panics and runs out the door. Back at the office, Jim is running the company. No one thinks he has the same power as Michael does. So he teaches everyone a lesson by putting Ryan's office in a closet room. Tune in to next weeks Thanksgiving special at 8:00 P.M. November 26th.

Murder

During this week's episode, The Wall Street Journal said Dunder Mifflin may have a high possibility that they'll go bankrupt within a year. This got everyone questioning their future and whether they'll have jobs. Michael and Jim pull everyone to on of their very productive meetings assuring everyone that everything will be fine. Michael's resolution to this is by playing "Belles, Bourbon, and Bullets." Surprisingly it works. Everyone goes a long with the and plays their character from the card that they received. Andy tries to make a move on Erin, but miserably fails because when he has asked her out on a date, he wasn't sure whether she was playing her character, or being Erin. So later, when Erin asks about the date Andy replies that he was just playing his character, when he actually has feelings for her, and messes up his chances severely. Jim is obviously disappointed in Michael for getting everyone to play, and not work, but later realizes that what Michael is doing is more necessary then work. Michael got their heads off the possibility of losing their jobs, he brought them happiness through the game, and so Jim decides to join in. On a serious matter, does this mean that the Office is coming to a last season? I really hope not. after doing some reasearch, it is too early too tell. all we know is that there will be three more episodes left on this season, and hopefully not the last.

Michael Gary Scott , Jim Halpert, and Dwight Kurt Schrute

Michael Scott (who is acted by Steve Carell ) is co-manager of the Scranton branch of paper distribution company Dunder Mifflin. The other co-manager of the company is Jim Halpert (acted by John Krasinski) who is actually a paper salesman. Last but not least, Dwight ( acted by Rainn Wilson) is yet another paper salesman. These three characters make the office, "The Office." Michael's offensive jokes, and his necessity to always make friends, which always back fires onto him. Jim's seriousness, which always causes a conflict between his and Mike's view points. And of course Dwight's gullibleness which always causes him to go do something out of his way from the work field. However, he's a very tough, and skilled worker who believes he should be co-manager with Michael instead of Jim, which always spurs up some good battles in the show. All these characters sarcasm to each other always ends up being a competition. They all strive to be better then the other regardless of the task, someone has to be the best.

Double Date

This Thursday's Episode was a great bounce back from last week's disappointment. I believe that many others agree with me. Michael with Pam's Mom goes on a double date with Pam and Jim to celebrate her birthday. During the date, he realizes that Pam's Mom is a good 15 years older then him and that "growing old with her" maybe won't come true because she's already old. He actually breaks up with her at the dinner table, just as Pam started to accept Michael being her Mom's boyfriend. Meanwhile, back at the Office Dwight feels very loving and decides to buy everyone breakfast. After he gives them their treat he says "you owe me". This is actually another one of his master plans to get Jim demoted, because he believes he should be co-manager of the company. However, Andy doesn't fall for this. Instead he decides to do the same and do generous deeds for Dwight, without Dwight asking for any help. This turns into a huge battle of kindness between the two to show who's more generous. The episode was very funny, and well planned. You may watch this weeks episode, or any episodes from this, or previous seasons on NBC.com. Tune in this Thursday for a new Office!

Coy Pond

Critics after this week's episode are giving it a 7.5 out of 10. I, myself, am fairly dissappointed. Compared to last year's Halloween special, this was a joke. There were some good laughs, but Halloween was only in the beginning 5 minutes of the episode. They could've taken off a lot of the focus off of the koi pond, and put more focus into Halloween. I disagree with the critics on that website who say that it was funny. They obviously don't know what The Office is capable of. Besides that it was funny.

Michael falls into a koi pond during a sales visit. Everyone mocks Michael for falling in, and he feels the need to fix this. This brings up a meeting with a "no mockery list." Pam (now a saleslady) and Andy go on buisness trips to try and get some new customers for the company. During these trips people constantly confuse them as a couple. This leads to both of them being offended and they get no work done. In the end it turns out that Jim actually pushed Michael into the pond. However Jim says he did it out of jealousy, and this makes Michael not care.

Subtle Sexuality: Pre Madonna

This weeks webcast episode of The Office had me laughing pretty hard. Kelly and Erin make their own pop group "Subtle Sexuality". The Director of the music video is Kevin while Andy and Ryan ( Pre Madonna O.G.) shows off their great rapping skills. The song actually has a catchy techno-type sound. I can definitely see myself listening to this song in the car, cruising on the highway. EVERYONE GO WATCH IT!!!

Over the past couple of years "The Office" has become one of the funniest, most popular, TV Series in America. Created in the year 2005 by Greg Daniels, Ricky Gervais Stephen Merchant, and more, The Office is based off a paper company (Dunder Mifflin) in Pennsylvania. It's your typical working environment, however the crew is very unique. They never get work done, all they do is chat, make fun of each other, anything but work. I became a follower of the show in 2007. As you see the ratings for the Office in 2007-2008 were average( 5-7 out of 10). During the 2008-2009 term they jumped up 14% year-over-year. Now in the 2009 season several websites are giving it 9-10 out of 10. The show is now funnier, and more popular then ever. The only bad things that I've read about The Office is people from the UK ( for some reason), and its previous seasons. If you want to have a funny Thursday night, or have nothing better to do, tune in to The Office at 8:00 P.M. every Thursday, on NBC.
